My At-Home Office Set-Up (Amazon & Target)

After 8 months working remote, I finally decided to invest in a little office nook for myself. I am absolutely in love with how it turned out. While I’m manifesting a formal at-home office space, this will definitely do.

I knew I wanted to make this space minimalistic for our apartment size, but also inspiring for me. I focused on just a few elements to bring the space to life, while also being functional.

I started with a desk. The challenge for me was that we had absolutely no room for an additional piece of furniture. I needed to find a desk that was compact and adjustable. This folding desk from Amazon fit the bill. It’s a decent size for a small apartment and even folds into itself if you need to move it. However, it’s completely stable when it’s fully out. It doesn’t wiggle or anything! It’s so easy to put together (like two steps) and was definitely on the cheaper side. It also looks cute in the space and not too cheap.

One item I had been manifesting for a long time was a green office chair. I absolutely love emerald green and really hope to use it more in a future home, but an office chair would suffice for now. I spent days pouring over the chairs on Amazon and finally decided on this one. I absolutely love the color and the shape of the chair. I wanted something with back support, but also had enough room in the seat for me to fold my legs and sit criss-cross applesauce, as I do that often while working. When it arrived, it’s super comfy and roomy to sit in, and was really easy to assemble, which I love! Definitely a great purchase and the stand out for my desk area.

In terms of accessories, I picked up a laptop case for my new MacBook, as well as a cute notebook, my favorite planner, and colorful pens. I love colored pens to identify specific tasks in my planner. Jake wanted to grab bluelight glasses himself and found an affordable 2-pack so I was able to have a pair myself. I was skeptical but now I love the bluelight glasses! They definitely help with eye strain and they look adorable. They pass the vibe check, for sure.

I also wanted to bring a bit of greenery into my space so I moved my faux fiddle leaf tree over to the desk. It helps block out Pancake or Jake from distracting me tbh, and brings a peaceful vibe to the space.

Lastly, I purchased this beautiful painting from my friend RusiPop and told her I’d hang it in my boss babe office one day (I always intended to have a pink office space). Who knew that day came sooner than we thought?! I loved hanging this piece and it really helped make my office space feel like mine and inspiring.

Here are the product links to everything but my painting.
