Wine Down with Winc

If there is one thing to know about me, it’s that I love wine. Always have, always will. Maybe I got too much one communion growing up or maybe I was meant to be a vineyard owner (hello dream!), but I just love it. When I first started drinking alcohol, wine was my first choice. I love all kinds of wines - white, red, rosé, sparkling, French, Italian - I’ll drink it!

As the years have progressed I have grown in my wine maturity and knowledge. I love learning about wine and have a big passion for trying new kinds. I seriously considered signing up for a course or two to learn more. Luckily, I don’t have to go all out like that. One of my favorite wedding gifts this year was a monthly membership to Winc and now I’m so excited to partner with them on this blog!

If you’ve never heard of Winc, you’re completely missing out. Winc is subscription service that delivers a world of wine, right to your door step! When you first sign up, you answer six questions in a palette quiz and then Winc generates wine suggestions for you. As a standard there are four bottles of wine you get per box and you can go with Winc’s suggestions or exchange the bottles for one you’d prefer.

Of all the times I’ve ordered Winc now, I always try and do a selection of two whites and two reds. For this particular box, I opted for one red, two whites and a rosé because I’m missing summer so badly!

As mentioned above, I’ve become some sort of a wine snob as of late and Winc’s wines definitely stack up. I will be honest and say the Pacifica chardonnay was not my favorite, but the red blend and the pinot noir I’ve tried so far are amazing!

I don’t know about you but I could go for wine every day. I normally limit consumption to 2-3 times a week, depending on social gatherings planned. Nothing compares to coming home from a long day and popping a cork, pouring a nice red and just relaxing. Anyone else? Definitely not something to wine about.

If you’re a wine enthusiast like me, use this link to score $22 discount + complimentary shipping, which comes out to 4 bottles of wine for $39! I mean hello that’s cheaper than one bottle at a restaurant and Winc wines are hella good.

Now, what’s your favorite wine?
