Reigniting creativity with Caseapp

Sometimes I feel like my whole life is online. From working in PR during the day (all on my computer) to writing blog posts to taking photos, editing photos and posting on Instagram - everything I do involves a screen pretty much.

It inspires me creatively and is easily adaptable to a variety of color palettes. I've also been inspired lately by bright summer fruits. I love the colors, the playfulness and energy each fruit gives. I played around with citrus, particularly lemons on the case, but finally settled on a pink watermelon - my favorite fruit. 

With a mint background and a playful watermelon print, I still felt like my custom iphone case was missing something. When I saw the option to add text and that one of my favorite sayings "live laugh love" was an option, I quickly added it into the design. 

I was a little nervous to see the final product, but I couldn't be happier with the final design and the fit of the case. My case fits my iphone like a glove and it's protected my phone through a few falls so far. 

While designing my iphone case, I decided to also look into a laptop skin. While I originally went to customize it, I wasn't liking how my design was turing out. I starting looking at the pre-made skins and fell in love with the green leaf print. Greenery has been a main source of inspiration for me: it's a focal point in my wedding planning, plants are slowly taking over my new apartment and now my laptop completes my obsession. 

The skin looks beautiful on my laptop, and just as I hoped, it has helped rejuvenate my creative side.
