Pushing My Limits with XO Mandy Sue

In the midwest where I grew up the fashion was jeans and a sweatshirt of some college you never went to. I wore an Auburn sweatshirt religiously in high school, but never actually went (although I did apply and get in!). When I was in middle school, I wanted to be a fashion buyer or editor so I would show up to school in ridiculous outfits of very mismatched items and call it "fashion." I had jeans under dresses, tank tops over shirts, I used ties as belts and more. Some could pull it off, I couldn't. Needless to say, I was never fashion-forward.

Now that I'm an adult, I try to dress appropriately for every occasion. If I'm going to work, I wear professional yet chic outfits; when I go to dinner I wear casual but cute. No mater what, I normally stick to anything comfortable--sweaters, jeans, cozy tops, and I don't stray far from what's in my comfort zone. That is until I partnered with XO Mandy Sue, an adorable boutique in California that has the feminine boho look down. I'm a lover of denim jackets and when I saw the Alennor Jacket, I knew I had to have it. It's super comfortable, fits like a glove and is gorgeous. It will be a staple in my closet, for sure.

I came across the Giselle Skirt, a beautiful tulle skirt, and kept coming back to it. It was out of my comfort zone but I figured what the heck! I'm 21, this is the time to try new styles. And I'm so glad I did. I absolutely fell in love with the skirt and I can't wait to wear it out with my fiancé.
