Self Care Sunday: Podcasts

I am so excited to share with you my current self care + wellness favs! I hope you take a quiet moment this week to enjoy your life + rest.

Hi friends, welcome back to Self Care Sunday! This week I want to chat about podcasts. Just a few months ago I thought podcasts were just a phase - I didn’t see the value you in them, I had no clue why people bothered to listen to them, and I just didn’t get it.

Now I see how wrong I was. I randomly started listening to a podcast one day. I have no idea why, probably because I wanted to see what the hype was about. After one episode, I was hooked. I’m all about continued learning and self development (obvi) and I loved finding podcasts that helped me do both. Now I listen to podcasts pretty much every day, and they help inspire me. In fact, if you follow me, you’ll know that one podcast (The Chasing Joy podcast) helped me figure out what wasn’t working with this blog and was a huge influencer in this little pivot/re-branding we’ve been going through. The podcast episode made me reevaluate everything in my life and figure out what was important to me and who I wanted to be. Needless to say, I’m a podcast fan now. I wanted to share my favorites with you.

Chasing Joy Podcast with Georgie Morley

You had to know this one was coming up first. I am obsessed with this wellness focused podcast. Each episode speaks to something I love learning about whether that be yoga, exercise, Instagram, nutrition, etc. I also love it because it talks about perfectionism, ED recovery, and other tough topics that hit home for me. I cannot recommend this one enough! .

Your Own Magic with Allie Michelle and Raquelle Mantra

This is actually the podcast got me into podcasts, if that makes sense. I’m a huge fan of Allie Michelle on Instagram and I’m constantly inspired by her words and yoga teachings. I bought her poetry (huge fan!) and decided to listen to her podcast and I love it. I’ve always secretly been interested in spirituality, crystal healing, intentions, etc. and this podcast covers all of it. Highly recommend is chakras, crystals and the such is your thing.

Girlboss Radio with Sophia Amoruso

I looooveee Girlboss - the book, the Netflix series, the website, and now the Podcast! It has really helped me refocus on my career and figure out my ambitions and own my ambitions. The podcast is motivational and gives me a good kick in the butt if I have an off day at work.

Off The Vine with Kaitlyn Bristowe


I mean obviously. I’m obsessed with the Bachelor franchise and Kaitlyn is easily my favorite of all time. I love a good gossip podcast and this is the perfect addition to the podcast line up.

That’s all for now. Like I said, I’m just now getting into podcasts and I’m a little picky on what I listen to for now. What are your favorite podcasts?
